Her body arched up as her hands went into his hair. He sucked making her cry out with pleasure. There was a bubbling cauldron of desire in the pit of her stomach as she touched him everywhere she could. Her hands roamed his body as he sucked her other nipple into her mouth. They were tight and sensitive. Every suck on her nipple went straight to her pussy making her throb.

  “Damon, please.”

“Not yet.” He brought his hand up and covered one of her breasts. “Perfection.”

He cupped and massaged her breast before he began to lick it all over. He put little nips on her making her press close to him because she was so sensitive there.

He took her nipples between his fingers and pinched them.

  “Do you like this?”

“Yes,” she hissed between her teeth. He was making her body writhe with pleasure. “Sensory overload.”

“You can take it, Little Warrior.” She smiled at his name for her even as she was fighting to rub her pussy against him.

  “Do you need something?”

  “You know what I need.”

“But there are so many things I haven’t had a chance to do yet.” He cupped her breast in each hand and squeezed while he licked down the center between them.

Her body went crazy bucking under him. The feel of him playing with her nipples and breast sent molten lava down to her pussy. The different feeling of him licking her at the same time made her want to bow to anything he asked of her.

  “I think you liked that.”

He moved down her body kissing and stroking her as he learned her curves. Her birthmark stopped him, he leaned down and kissed it. He licked it again imagining he could taste saltwater.

“It’s sensitive.” He sucked it into his mouth, and she moaned clutching at him.

“It might take me forever to love your body, don’t worry I’m up to the challenge. What have I found here?”

He ran his fingers over the top of her pussy teasing her. Then his head lowered, and he licked her sucking her into his mouth. Her body arched, and she screamed as she came on his face. He spread her legs as he licked her fanning the flames again. He took her clit into his mouth and sucked as her body began to move under his.

  “River?”

  “Yes, Damon, Yes.”

He rose taking his joggers off. Her eyes widened as she looked at him.

“I’m not sure you’ll fit. Little.” She pointed to her pussy. “Huge.” She pointed to his cock.

He looked down and had to catch himself. Her pink pussy was there glistening surround by a sea of brown skin. She looked so good he wanted his tongue in her not just licking her. He cock was throbbing.

  “We’ll fit.”

He laid on his side and pulled her closer to him. He brought her leg up over his thigh as he rubbed his cock against her. He inserted the tip bringing his hips closer to her. She bit her bottom lip as he pulled out and went back in.

“Nice and easy.” He whispered to himself as he moved a little closer allowing her to feel more of him.

She moved this time his murmured words of nice and easy took what little fear she had. He wanted her, to love her not hurt her.

“I can feel you inside of me. You’re so big my pussy is throbbing around you.”

“Your wrong Little Warrior, you’re so tight you might strangle me. Don’t worry I can handle it.” Their laughter turned into groans as she thrust her hips forward taking all of him in.

“River.” He groaned her name out as he stayed still giving her time to adjust.

She wiggled around him encouraging him to move. He slowly withdrew before thrusting back in. His hands went to her breast pulling on them as she moved a little faster. Her breath came in fast pants as she felt the sensation of him pulling and thrusting against her pussy.

He was going faster taking her on a sensual ride. She needed him deeper wanted him deeper. She gave a growl that had him turning her over on her back. He thrust in, and she screamed in pleasure. Her body was tightening up as she met his thrust.

She felt wild and free as she thrust up onto him.

“Damon,” she screamed his name as she felt her body about to explode. Her nails clutched his shoulder making little half-moon shapes.

  “Come with me, River.”

The world around her went up in smoke. Pleasure seared her body as she dived into the ocean. Being with Damon was the only thing better than swimming the seas.

She opened her eyes to see him caught in his own moment of pleasure. The absolute joy on his face made her feel connected to him. He was right if she ever ran she would expect him to come after her. She closed her eyes.

“I know you’re not going to sleep on me.”

“The male speaks, why does the male speak?” She was getting cozy in his arms as she pulled the covers over their body.

“You need to eat, and the casserole smells done.”

She opened one eye and looked at him before placing her hand on her empty belly.

  “Tomorrow?”

“Tonight.” He smacked her behind making her smile as she rolled out of bed.

  “I need a shower first.”

  “Make it fast.”

He moved to put his joggers back on and caught a look at himself in the mirror. He looked like Mick and all the Dares. He had a great big goofy grin on his face. His mouth drooped down, but as soon as he stopped staring the smile came back. He left the room not caring how he looked he had her, and that’s all that mattered.

She walked in looking good in the jeans and sweater he made for her. It was still bothering him that he didn’t make her pajama’s. He placed her plate on the table. As well as several glasses of fluids.

  “Eat up.”

  “What’s wrong.”

“I don’t know, but I want to get out of here as soon as possible. You need to eat first.”

  “Okay. What about you?”

“I’m fine I’m going to check the alarms.”

She nodded and ate quickly. Now that he pointed it out she felt like she was being hunted.

He walked back in the kitchen just as a hole was blown in the side of his cabin. He threw himself over her.

  “Nice place you have here.”

  “You again?”

Elandra was standing in front of him, and he wasn’t looking happy.

  “You could use a medbed.”

“I had a nice little visit with Aran and Alexei. Aran doesn’t like unexpected visitors. He got his point across. Alexei is laboring under the belief that his parents are old and need his protection. He’s wrong.”

Damon would have laughed if he and Elandra were friends, but they weren’t, and he had a mate to protect.

“So, you came here thinking I like unexpected visitors?”

“I don’t care what you like, your fair game now. I wonder if the female is also.”

The minions looked at him as they wondered whose life would be forfeited.

“No, we’ll leave the female up here alone in this isolated part of the world. How long will she survive? I wonder. All I want is you.”

Damon ran at him taking him down before a red lasso of energy covered his body.

“Forget playing fair, I hate the rules.” Elandra’s laugh echoed around the kitchen long after he was gone.

River pushed herself off the floor to find Sloan leaning against the doorway.

“There are times you have to like The Darkness they’re so helpful in helping you find your prey.”

“I’m not prey, and I’m not going with you.”

“Then it’s a good thing I didn’t ask you to come with me.” He shot out a black coil that came from his body binding her.

“Why River you fucked The Created. Did you bind your life to his? Will he die when I kill you? We’ll know soon enough.”

He left the room pulling her to the hover outside and took off.

Dante stepped out of the shadows and looked around. He repaired the wall it was all he could do before he stepped
back into the shadows surrounding him.

  *~*~*~*

Sloan casually slammed her against the wall before he flicked his wrist and slammed her against the other wall.

“Having fun?” she forced out between her teeth.

“Not yet let’s try another wall.” She slammed against it and then slid down it.

  “Yeah, that was rather entertaining.”

They were in a room with white walls and no furniture. It was a cell. The walls were no longer white they were spattered with red. She’d have to see what designs her blood made on them.

“The blood on the walls adds a nice touch to this room.”

“If only the blood would make a portal now that would be a great mural for the wall.”

He threw her at another wall she had just enough time to tuck not that it seemed to help.

  “River I have a problem.”

“Step one is admitting your problem.”

Her hands went around her neck as she gasped for breath. The pressure eased up, and she greedily gasped for air.

“I understand now, you’re stuck on step one.” She stopped wheezing and desperately panting for air. “Sometimes it can take centuries to admit your problem. Don’t worry I’m sure your wife will wait until you can finally get it up.”

“Tsk, tsk River. You used to be better behaved. Time with that guardian has made you rebellious. Now as I said, I have a problem. The guardian has something I want, and you have something I want. How can I get them both?

“I can’t kill you if I do I get sidelined in this little game of ours.”

“If you're calling my life a game you need to think again. Neither Damon or I am playing a game.”

“Do I detect a note of caring in your voice? The Darkness has him, he won’t be getting away. That means you’re all alone. Have you ever been to a zoo? No? You’ll love it. This one is a wildlife preserve. All the animals roam free in their natural habitat. I will always wonder who came up with that. We already destroyed the Earth. You would think they would put the few animals they have left behind glass. Instead, they left them out for me. Really for you. You’ll meet them soon they like the aroma of fresh blood.”

He dragged her behind him until they reached the gate. He was humming a happy insane song when he picked her up and threw her over the gate. He disappeared with a laugh.

  Chapter Thirteen

Damon hung from the ceiling something he was getting used to.

“You really need a new bag of tricks, Elandra. The Created are much more creative.” He smiled at his own joke until the whip took the flesh off his back. This was repetitive.

“The whip is only because I enjoy seeing you bleed. It warms me up on the inside. That isn’t what I brought you here for.”

He lifted his hand making a window through time and space. River was being dragged over the uneven ground as she struggled to get away.

“The male dragging your mate is Sloan. She may have mentioned his name once or twice.”

He picked her up and threw her high into the air and over a gate that looked like it was hot.

“There’s a laser pulse that goes through that fence the animals know to stay away from it. Will your mate know or will we see her fry?”

She picked herself up off the ground and started for the fence.

Damon screamed at her knowing she couldn’t hear him not to touch the fence. She stopped and picked up a rock and threw it at the fence. It lit up, she stepped backward.

What was she going to do? Sloan left her out here to die and he was right Damon couldn’t help her even though she felt like he was close to her, watching her. There was a roar in the distance that had her shaking. She moved away from the fence not wanting to accidently fall.

Still, she decided to stay on the perimeter. Hopefully, she would avoid large predators. Why would they come this close to the fence knowing what it could do? She took a step and grimaced looking down at her feet which were shoeless

Walking carefully, she looked for something to wrap around her feet. In front of her was a large thick chain. Why were there chains in a wildlife preserve? Could she lift it and carry it with her as a weapon?

She crept a little closer the color seemed just a bit off. Her teeth worried her bottom lip before she stepped back. It seemed a little too convenient. It began to move and change shapes. A snake, it lifted its head, and she turned and bolted.

She ran through the trees, and the high grass, only one thought on her mind if the snake wrapped around her, she would be dinner and Damon would never find her. It stopped chasing her when she cleared the trees. She stopped bending over to place her hands above her knees panting. She wasn’t in the best shape seeing as she had been captive with very little freedom to move.

She stood her arms wrapping around her body as her hands rubbed her arms. She was thankful for the jeans and sweater she was wearing. It was a cold night.

“Damon I’m lost please come find me.” Her voice was sad as she continued to walk farther into the preserve.

“You have me, get her out of there.” He screamed his brother's names imploring them to rescue his mate.

“You might as well save your breath their hands are tied. The Darkness is good with coming up with rules to hinder outsiders. I’m glad she got away from the Bollo. It would have been boring watching it digest her. Now we should have some real fun. Watch Damon I don’t want you to miss anything.”

He was glued to the scene before him. River, he reached for her hoping some part of the emotional connection had begun and she could feel him.

“One little River walking by herself is she enough to spread water and joy?” She sang the song it was a little ditty. Her mother used to sing it to her when she was little. Her heart always beat fast because mom was home when she heard that song.

She kept her pace the same, but she was being stalked she could feel it. Maybe it was a baby deer, that would be nice. Do baby deer stalk humans?

“I’m human,” she whispered softly, “you don’t want to eat me.” There was a cave off to her left all she had to do was make it. You can make it, just walk slowly. What if there was a bear in there? First thing first, get away from whatever’s stalking you.

She looked behind her to see the eyes of a huge panther, he must have been twice her size. Her feet were moving before her brain could even finish the thought. She made it to the cave but the panther was right behind her, and she was trapped. It was stalking her now playing with her. She was moving slowly against the cave wall when she felt a blast of air. There was a small crevice. It wasn’t big enough she thought but what was her other choice? The panther's hind legs propelled him forward in a leap that would end her. She turned sideways and tried to squeeze into the crack in the wall.

Can’t breathe. Rather die this way than become dinner. She kept squeezing herself further back into the space in the wall as she could feel the hot breath of the panther as he clawed at the wall looking for a way in.

“This is better than a vid. Do you want popcorn? Your eyes are red and look your canines are showing. I don’t think you like seeing your mate running from predators. You're nothing but a predator. Does she know that?”

Damon opened his mouth and let out a large growl. River shook at the sound. Wasn’t that interesting if she could hear him, how far away was she?

“Damon, didn’t your mother teach you to use your words? Wait, you didn’t have one of those, did you? Too bad.”

There would come a day he would get a chance at Elandra. The male would wish he was back in the room with Aran. His eyes tracked River as she squeezed through the small space. He gave a sigh of relief when she was out until he realized she was standing on a small ledge on the face of a cliff.

Don’t panic River you can manage to get yourself off of this ledge. Remember you’re a Little Warrior. She looked down and got dizzy, up was the only way to go. There was a thin ribbon of land going up the cliff side. She plastered her front to it and slowly followe
d it up.

Her foot slipped, and her heart beat frantically, but the handholds she was finding along the way were helping her. She would need to lie down when she got to the top her feet were bleeding, and she was tired. If she kept running, she would either pass out or not move fast enough to avoid what was after her.

Her lips quirked up as she thought of Damon. He would miss her, he already cared for her. When the wall fell, he moved to protect her. Her heart beat faster thinking about him kissing her and loving her. She was going to leave him but not because she wanted to. There would be no running from him if she got out. When you find a male who was willing to tell you how special you were from the beginning and he didn’t give you the creeps, he was a keeper. More than that he liked what he saw when so many others put her down and made her feel inadequate. Big or little he wanted her. She wanted him in her life.

She did it. Her body collapsed on the ground, and she rolled away from the edge of the cliff. If only she could find a place to spend the night. She was on a large platform, and there wasn’t any apparent shelter.

The growl she heard had her stiffening. That didn’t sound like any earth animal she was aware of. When it walked out it had large orange eyes and stood close to six feet tall on four legs. There was no outrunning that beast. Did she lay here and die or did she run and die? Those were her only two choices.

“Now it’s getting good we’re about to see the insides of your mate. We’ll you’ve already seen them, but I haven’t, and we don’t want to deprive me.”

Damon was pulling at the chains swinging his body around as he tried to get to the rift in time and space Elandra set before them.

“Save yourself the trouble. You’ll never get to her.”

He watched as she went to her hands and knees preparing to run. The beast leaped up, and he tried once again to get through the rift Elandra made. The chains holding him broke and his body slid through the hole already changing.

“How dare you come here!” Elandra felt his body growing.

Dante looked at him then dismissed him. “If the rules are going to be broken then I wanted to get in on the fun.” He closed the rift before he disappeared.
